1st Week

This week was the best week so far. We worked on highway maps which was cool. We planned trips from one city to another city. We also worked on topographic maps. Our class learned how to read those maps. They were kind of tough to figure out but after a while they became easy. On those maps we learned to plot grid squares they are sort of like longitude and latitude, but way easier. Yesterday we started to go out in our schools prairie/ swamp. It was so fun to get lost and stomp through the brush. I forgot to put bug spray on and it was really bad for mosquitoes. My favorite part of the week was going through the brush, I loved it. I didn't like the road maps they were hard to figure out the distance. This week was sweet!
